How much space, stuff and comfort do we really need? Whether building islands from garbage, tents hanging from trees, micro-homes on wheels, residential sleeping pods or experimental urban parasitic architecture, they are united by the effort to find ways to form new communities.

This work is a testimony to how architects are designing a better future by taking on the critical challenges facing cities-and our world-today.
At A'19, we'll explore designing a better future, for everyone.
