Allison Springer Eventing had a great weekend at the Jersey Fresh CCI3* & CCI2* Three-Day Event this past weekend. The cold and rainy weather was less than ideal but Allison's horses handled it with maturity and style! The crew at Jersey Fresh did such an amazing job making sure the footing and amenities were still in perfect conditions for the competition to go on smoothly.
Allison rode the Lord Willing Syndicate's Lord Willing in the CIC3* to a very successful finish. Allison and Lord Willing scored a specular 27.8 in the dressage, had a clean cross country with just a couple of time penalties, and had only one rail in stadium to finish in 4
th
place. As Lord Willing is new to this level, he is sure one to watch for the future! Allison is so excited about the horse he is developing into.
In the CCI2* division Allison rode Business Ben, owned by the Business Ben Partnership, to an 8
th
place finish! The pair scored a 30.8 in the dressage, put down a fast and clear cross country round, and finished the weekend off with a confident show jumping round to add another great finish to the horse's already impressive resume.
