Stewardship Scripture Reflection
Second Sunday of Easter
“Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.’” (John 20:21)

Peace – the first gift of the risen Lord. Just as Jesus sent the apostles out into the world, so too, He sends us. As disciples of Jesus, we are called to be grateful and generous. Look for opportunities to share His peace, not only within our local parish boundaries, but outside of them as well. In giving, we receive the peace of Jesus Christ.

Announcements
Please click below to see our Parish Calendar for upcoming events.
It is possible that, on entering church, you may hear the Call of God.

On the other hand, it is not likely that He will contact you by phone.
Thank you for turning off your cell-phone.

If you would like to talk to God, come in, choose a quiet place, and
talk to Him.️️

If you would like to see him, send Him a text while driving!
Please consider signing up as a guardian for First Friday Adoration this
Friday, May 3rd.

Spending an hour with our Lord can help you maintain the momentum you gained during the Lenten season.

Bishop Robert Baron stated that one can "cultivate a deeper appreciation and reverence for the Blessed Sacrament by setting aside time for Eucharistic Adoration."

Please sign up in the Narthex after Mass.
Monthly Intention

Prayer Petition: Vocations: clergy, religious, single life, married
Prayer Petition for each week in April:   In our journey as a faith-filled community during our Year of Prayer, let us pray for all vocations; that we will embrace God's call to holiness: whether married, single, ordained or in a religious order. Let us pray to the Lord.

The Silver Rose Program

In honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Sanctity of Human Life, the Silver Rose Program is coming to COKAS on Friday, May 17 in the form of a special prayer service at 7:00 A.M. This event is hosted by the Knights of Columbus and all are welcome.
Every year from March through December, Silver Roses are stewarded by councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop along the way is a rosary centered occasion for Knights, parishioners, and community members to pray for respect for life and the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Would you like to donate and dedicate the altar flowers for a week?
It’s easy to do and a beautiful way to remember a loved one, offer a special intention or a thanksgiving for a special grace, and celebrate anniversaries and birthdays. Your donation can do all that and beautify the Church too.

Here’s how it works:
Flowers are used during weekend Masses and remain on the altar all week
Dedications for Altar Flowers will be listed in the Church Bulletin
Donations for the flowers are tax deductible
You can donate for any or all of the following:
Altar, Pedestals, St. Joseph, Blessed Mother
For all of you Georgia Tech alumni, parents and fans...in case you didn't know...the Georgia Tech Catholic Center is renovating the chapel.

If you are interested in being part of their mission, click on the link below to learn more. The renovation is an effort to bring beauty to Georgia Tech, and to turn the Catholic Center into the beating heart of evangelization for the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
