Today we have a few new wines from Oregon to pour for you, along with a beautiful Loire Valley Rosé and a fantastic Sangiovese from Tuscany. These are all great wines for the season with the whites and rosé being bright and lively and the reds light enough to enjoy on a hot day. We look forward to seeing you this afternoon at the shop. |

We'll begin today's tasting with Pike Road Pinot Gris ($10.99), an easy to love white with ripe stone fruit flavors and a clean finish, followed by Montinore Borealis ($14.99), a white blend based on Muller Thurgau and Gewürztraminer that offers intriguing spice nuances along with generous fruit and racy acidity that makes your mouth long for the next sip, and we'll finish off the chilled wines with Le Grand Bouqueteau Chinon Rosé (Reg. $17.99, Sale $15.99), a Cabernet Franc rosé from the Loire valley with lively red berry fruit and nuances of bell pepper on the finish. For reds we'll start with Montinore Pinot Noir ($18.99), a delicate but full-of-flavor Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley with generous fruit on the front and earthiness and spice on the finish, and we'll wrap things up with Torrebruna Sangiovese ($10.99), a fantastic Sangiovese from Tuscany with dark fruit flavors supported by mature tannins and rustic nuances.
