The Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce's Healthcare Council announces Wellness Week 2020. Wellness Week 2020 is scheduled as February 3-7, 2020 and is an effort to heighten the awareness and share the benefits of wellness in the workplace.
The Chamber is encouraging the community to participate during the week to promote wellness in Fort Smith. Ideas for participation for businesses, churches, schools and families are listed below. Be creative and have WELLNESS on your mind the entire week. Additionally, we'd like participants to share their progress, stories and photos with us through tagging the Fort Smith Regional Chamber page on Facebook and Tweeting with the hashtag #FSWellnessWeek.

Swing by Yogaterrium on your lunch during wellness week and meet studio owner Terri Hargrove.
She will lead a free 30 minute beginner yoga class and answer your most common questions about yoga.
Healthy snacks and drinks will be provided.

Congratulations to Bobby Parker for being selected as our Ambassador of the Month for December! Bobby is an independent insurance agent and specializes in Individual and Group Medical, Supplemental and Life products. He is licensed in both Arkansas and Oklahoma with offices in both Poteau and Van Buren. Bobby represents over 30 different carriers and supplemental benefits providers, several of which he is the only appointed representative in this region of Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Bobby is also the President of the River Valley Business Networkers (TeamRVBN) which hosts monthly networking events in Fort Smith and is currently working to develop additional networking and educational opportunities for local small businesses and entrepreneurs . Bobby is an active member of the Old Fort Christian Business Men’s Connection (CBMC) group which hosts the annual Fort Smith Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast in July each year. Bobby is currently working with business leaders in Greenwood and Van Buren to establish new CBMC groups in those areas.
