Mental Health First Aid Instructor Certification Training

Region 1 IDN has been invited to send two people, free of charge, to a five-day Mental Health First Aid Instructor Certification Training in Concord. This training is funded by Change Direction NH, Endowment for Health, Concord Hospital Trust Community Support Funds.

This workshop will provide strategies to effectively and efficiently prevent, treat, and manage a variety of physical illnesses with a behavioral health component. Dr. Nicole Bereolos, PhD, MPH, CDE, a licensed clinical health psychologist and certified diabetes educator, is a national speaker and published author in scientific peer-reviewed journals and has been involved in clinical trials (Phase II-IV) in the areas of infectious disease, endocrinology, psychiatry, neurology, and cardiology.

Free Buprenorphine Waiver Training

Date: Friday, May 25th
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Location: Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon

NH Medical Society, NH Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Addiction Technology Transfer Center Network are pleased to offer this FREE buprenorphine waiver training. Training is available for physicians interested in seeking their waiver to prescribe buprenorphine in the treatment of opioid use disorders. To obtain the waiver to prescribe, providers are required to take eight hours of training.
