Outperform Spray Foam

According to Owens Corning, AeroBarrier outperforms spray foam with a verifiable low-cost solution. The presentation will take a look at the combination of the thermal properties of Owens Corning Fiberglass combined with the air sealing properties of AeroBarrier Technology. Includes a brief overview of the installation and history of AeroBarrier as well as addressing common questions.

Presented by Craig Marden, Sr. Field Application Specialist in the Building Science group at Owens Corning. With thirty years experience in construction, weatherization and energy efficient construction and retrofit, conducting thousands of blower door tests on residential buildings, Craig is a Certified Passive House Consultant.

Energy code requirements have been getting more and more strict over the last few years. In addition, various energy metrics have been introduced into local incentive programs and legislations; natural gas moratoriums are pushing the market to electrify.

This seminar will put the pieces of this energy puzzle together, clarify the end goal of moving our buildings and our grid together to zero carbon, and ways which both existing buildings and new buildings can participate in this effort.

E questrian Facilities

The Murphy Brothers Contracting team recently completed a private equine facility constructed especially for world class grand prix jumpers. The farm itself consists of (4) buildings: stable, storage/muck building, pump shed which houses the fire pump system for the stables, and outdoor riding arena. The (14) horse stables are constructed from new sawn white oak post and beam and feature (84) skylights equipped with heat and rain sensors. Let's collaborate on your next Equestrian Facility.
