On
Rosh Chodesh Adar, the students watched a rousing
Machanayim game, with the teachers playing against their students. The girls cheered enthusiastically as they witnessed their classmates proclaim victory over their teachers!
8TH GRADE YOM IYUN
8A prepared a gala Yom Iyun exploring Simcha for the entire Eighth Grade in honor of Chodesh Adar. Mrs. Shifra Rabenstein, our guest speaker, shared that simcha can be achieved when we recognize and internalize that Hashem is our pilot who is navigating every detail of our lives. The program continued with a music video about the Purim story produced and filmed by 8A. Everyone enjoyed the waffles and ice cream and the lively dancing that followed.
PURIM CHAGIGA
The
Middle School Purim Chagiga, hosted by G.O. the night before
Ta'anis Esther, was a sweet success. The multi-purpose room was tastefully decorated in a deliciously well done
Candyland theme. Each class dressed up according to their own theme displaying creativity and generating excitement. The teachers performed a delightful
Purim shpiel which was followed by dancing, with music by
Yehuda Mond.
