ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT!
LUCKY for Great Experiences!

Check out the Lawrence Township Alumni who have recently struck GOLD!

Alexis Doan, Lawrence North Class of 2016.  Alexis was named one of the 2018 500 Festival Princesses. She was chosen out of hundreds of candidates and was selected based upon her academic success, communication skills, and community involvement. She is currently attending Indiana University Bloomington, majoring in Marketing & International Business. CONGRATS, ALEXIS!

Kyle Guy,
Lawrence Central Class of 2016.
Kyle has had quite the LUCKY start to 2018. Just last week Kyle and his teammates at The University of Virginia were declared champions of the ACC Tournament. Guy was also named the tournament MVP. On top
of his success on the court, Kyle also got down on one knee in February to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Alexa Jenkins. Congrats to Kyle Guy and his new fiance, and hopefully the luck will continue to follow him through the NCAA Tournament.

Jaci John,  Lawrence North Class of  2013.  Jaci has accepted a position as a Production Assistant with NFL Films. Jaci recently finished up an intensive internship program with NFL Films where she created highlight reels for several episodes of Inside the NFL. Jaci will spend the next few months as the Social Media Coordinator for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway until the football season begins.

Sam (Mipoorian) Miro,  Lawrence Central Class of 2011.
Sam has had quite the luck since graduating from Lawrence Central. Miro is currently an award-winning filmmaker based in the Midwest. His first feature- length film was a documentary on homelessness. The film was screened with President Obama's staff from the Department of Justice and HUD. Sam's second film, Little Warriors, has been screened on PBS, as well as being played in festivals across the country. The film took home Best Indiana Spotlight Film Award at the Academy Award-qualifying Heartland Film Festival. In more recent news, Miro just finished editing and producing a new film called, Destination Park. The film is set to have its world premiere screening at Robert De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival in New York in April. To read more about Miro's accomplishments click here

Our mission is to bring alumni together, celebrating the past successes of our schools while supporting the future generations of Lawrence Township.

 ,

The month of March brings a rush of luck sweeping across the nation and especially to our awesome alumni! We've had a great start to March CELEBRATING the Lawrence Township School Foundation at our annual "Light Their Future" Celebration, where we raised $112,000 for Lawrence Township! The night was filled with FUNdraising, dancing, and alumni of all ages. If you missed out this year, make sure you sign up for next year!

This month we hope you are finding the gold at the end of the rainbow and sharing the Alumni eNewsletter with all your lucky classmates that get to call Lawrence Township home.
