The flu season is here, and local residents are being asked to donate all blood types at Stanford Blood Center (SBC) to ensure a sustainable supply to meet the needs of patients at local hospitals.

Back to School Health Fair
The  Back to School Health Fair  is a free event for all children and families to receive immunizations, health screenings, and information from a wide range of community partners. This event will feature vendors providing free flu shots and free screenings for vision, dental, and Hepatitis B. Exhibitors from all across the district will provide information on resources such as free legal services, therapy and service dogs, free bike repairs, and healthcare providers.

Halloween Hoopla Parade and Trick-or-Treat
Put on your Halloween costume and parade through downtown Menlo Park at our annual Halloween Hoopla on Saturday, October 26 at Fremont Park .

Halloween Costume Parade
11 am
Come in costume and participate in the annual parade to Fremont Park. Receive a free trick-or-treat bag! The parade will start in the parking lot behind Cheeky Monkey.

Trick-or-Treat
11:30 am to 2 pm
After the parade, trick or treat in downtown Menlo Park stores that display a trick-or-treat sign on their door. Entertainment and crafts will also be available at Fremont Park.

Park James Hotel Speaker Series Begins Tonight
Join Park James Hotel for a speaker series with author Scott Evans!  You are invited to: JUMP THE FENCE
 
The special event will highlight the book release of Pacoima Days , the story behind the stories that inspired the movies "The Sandlot," and "Radio Flyer." A reception featuring book signing, wine, and small bites from Oak+Violet will follow the event.
