Interfaith Volunteer Caregiver is looking for some business partners to assist with our growing Groceries to Go Program. Our Groceries to Go program runs every Wednesday. Volunteers are needed to pick up grocery orders at Hansen’s IGA and deliver them in the Black River Falls and surrounding areas. This program is so busy it now takes up to three volunteers to deliver each Wednesday. Participants call in their grocery orders to Hansen’s, a Hansen’s employee does all the shopping, and then an Interfaith volunteer delivers the groceries and takes the payment back to Hansen’s. This takes one to two hours.
~Another volunteer opportunity is to read for our Visually Impaired Program. Volunteers are needed to make a digital recording of the local papers so we can send it out to our Visually Impaired Participants. This is also done on Wednesdays and takes one to two hours. It can be done at home Wednesday nights, or during the day on Wednesday.
~Each program is looking for volunteers to commit to one to two days a month. For more information, contact Lori or Carol at  715-284-7058  or email  jcivc.org
