THE LIVING LAST SUPPER
THURSDAY, MARCH 29, & FRIDAY, MARCH 30
7:30 PM

"The Living Last Supper" will be presented Maundy Thursday, March 29, and Good Friday, March 30, 7:30 p.m. each night. The drama is a re-creation of Leonardo DaVinci's famous painting "The Last Supper" with 13 living characters. Set in the Upper Room where Jesus gathered his disciples to celebrate the Passover, this hour of drama, special music, and worship has the twelve disciples speaking their minds to themselves, to each other, and to the Lord in light of the words which they have just heard Jesus speak, "One of you will betray me." Through the soliloquies we learn about each disciple's relationship to Jesus as well as their relationship to each other. Thirteen men from the church will portray the characters.
Invite your family and friends. Adults and children will appreciate this 50 minute dramatic presentation. Child care will be available each evening.

Easter Party & Scavenger Hunt
Wednesday, March 28, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

This Easter instead of hunting eggs, we'll be hunting clues.  We are inviting the community to join us as we look for Jesus in a scavenger hunt throughout the building.  Kids will find objects in rooms that will help tell parts of the story of Jesus. When they uncover the whole story they will unlock a bigger prize in the gym and hopefully in their lives! We need volunteers to: help guide families around the building; stay in one room and tell part of Jesus' story; and supervise kids in the gym. Contact Jayné Kirk to help out (304-562-5903).

Construction Update
This week the construction team has hung the drywall upstairs and downstairs in Byrd Hall. They are continuing to work on the northern end wall of Byrd Hall and trimming the windows out. Some of the finishing touches on the kitchen are coming to an end, and all have enjoyed the expanded kitchen while making eggs. The ramp down toward the new addition is open today, which will make the travel to the Sunday School classrooms easier. Forward progress to serve in the future.

A BIG Thank You
Thank you to all the many, many volunteers, and to all who came out to support Saturday's Spring Festival and last week's Egg Factory, and to those who made goodies for the Country Store. We had so much fun! A total of 3,600 eggs were made, and there are still some eggs left for sale!
