Day with a Successful Open House!
On March 21, 2018 Governor Mark Dayton's proclamation was read at an open house in the CED office by UMD CED Director, Elaine Hansen, 
proclaiming  March 21, 2018 SBDC Day!

The open house was open to the public, and in attendance were various CED clients, City of Duluth officials, and the Minnesota District Director for the U.S. Small Business Administration, Nancy Libersky.

Duluth's West End neighborhood will soon be home to three breweries. Ursa Minor Brewing expects to open this summer, joining Lake Superior Brewing Company and Bent Paddle Brewing in the burgeoning Lincoln Park Craft District.
