ILS Retreat - Frequently Asked Questions
  • Is the ILS Annual Meeting happening at the Retreat in Bonita Springs on May 19, 2018
Yes!  The ILS will not be meeting at the June meeting of the Florida Bar in Orlando.  The ILS Retreat and Annual Meeting were combined into one event because of the proximity of the May and June dates.  That means we have very important ILS business to take care of on May 19, 2018, including Officer and Executive Council elections.  We need all Executive Council members to attend on May 19, 2018 to insure a quorum.
  • Do I need to register for the Retreat and Annual Meeting?
Yes!  Retreat and Annual Meeting registration is required so we can plan for our meals and social events during the weekend.  Some events require payment and others do not.  Please CLICK HERE to view the weekend agenda and to register for the meetings and meals.  It is not enough to have made a hotel reservation.  We will not be able to accommodate registrations on site so please register today!
  • Can I bring my significant other and/or kids?
Yes!  The ILS Retreat and Annual Meeting welcomes significant others and kids for the social portions of the weekend.
  • Are there rooms left at the venue hotel (Hyatt Regency Coconut Palm Resort & Spa)?
Our understanding is that there are rooms left at the venue hotel, but our ILS discounted rate room block was exhausted.  This means the hotel is charging its regular rates for rooms at this point.
  • Can the ILS suggest other hotels nearby?
Yes!  The ILS has been circulating information about overflow hotels through its Gazette, including information about the Hyatt Place Coconut Point which is offering a $134 room rate and is less than 2 miles away from the venue hotel.  Other overflow hotel information is contained in the attached.
  • Who can I contact if I still have questions?
Please contact Angie Froelich at AFroelich@floridabar.org
