FILTHY HOOLIGAN 2018

T he tradition continues. For the past five years, Alec Bradley Cigar Co. has released a limited-edition  green candela cigar  in honor of St. Patrick's Day called Black Market Filthy Hooligan. This year, the company has brought back Filthy Hooligan in its popular barber pole format, draped in Honduran candela cover leaf intertwined with Nicaraguan tobacco from Jalapa. Along with its eye-catching combination of wrapper tobaccos, Alec Bradley Black Market Filthy Hooligan Barber Pole contains an Ecuadoran Sumatra binder and filler leaf from Panama and Honduras. The cigar comes in one size, Toro, measuring 6 inches by 50 ring gauge.

Using the same blend as the original Corojo line, the Camacho Candela has an aromatic green wrapper whose Criollo leaf was cured over a charcoal fire.The binder and filler both were grown in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras using vintage Cuban seeds, adding a cultural significance to a once forgotten wrapper leaf. Camacho Candela is rolled at Diadema Cigars de Honduras, S.A., in Danlí, Honduras.
