CPC Blood Drive: Next Wednesday, May 1
2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.; Fellowship Hall
CPC's Blood Drive is in the Fellowship Hall next Wednesday, May 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., again using The Blood Connection as our blood services partner.
TBC's primary focus is on meeting the needs of the surrounding area, so CPC donors may count on making valuable contributions to their own community. Participants in the December, 2018 blood drive gave very positive feedback regarding their experience with TBC. In addition, CPC earns cash rewards for every usable unit donated. $420 was raised by our December Blood Drive, which was used for our Integrative Wellness Festival earlier this year.
If you prefer, you may sign up at the Blood Drive table in the Narthex following worship service this Sunday, April 28. You may also sign-up there to provide donations to the canteen or to volunteer to assist at the drive.
CPC blood drives are a wonderful tradition. A recent review revealed that from 2005 - 2018, CPC collected approximately 1170 units, or an average for 27 drives of 43 units. Thank you for your support of this important ministry!
If you have any questions about your eligibility to donate blood, please contact Blood Drive Committee members Deb Luckadoo, Carol Dietz, Janet Robinette or Mandy Nester.

Checks payable to Cary Presbyterian Church, "Guatemala" on the memo line. For cash receipts, please write your name and address on a notepad and put this inside of the envelope flap and we will send you a receipt.

Walk to Jerusalem Summary
We might not have made it to Jerusalem in Lent but our 3,966.17 miles got us safely upon Spain's shores. And, as any seasoned traveler knows, it's the journey not the destination. Whether you journeyed with us on a Saturday morning walk, a Wednesday evening Bible study, or committed yourself to a regular discipline of movement, prayer, yoga, or silence, we pray these past 6 weeks found you experiencing holy moments, finding the places that enabled you to grow in your relationship with God and each other.
And the journey need not end here. In Spain, El Camino de Santiago (pictured above) has, for centuries, been a site of spiritual pilgrimage. If you're not familiar with the idea of a spiritual pilgrimage, we invite you to mark your calendars for July 14
-through July 18
when all ages will have the opportunity to learn more about this interesting and enjoyable way to deepen your relationship with God and this gathered community.
