GPRA Update 5/17/2018
Dear Great Pyrenees Friends,

We are pushing 100 rescues this year already!!! On top of that, we are taking in a young, very pregnant female from North Georgia, so the year of THE PUPPY continues. On top of that, we are full in boarding and have shelter PYRS and owner surrenders waiting to come in. Our vet, VCA, is taking in 6 of our new PYRS  tomorrow. All of this activity stretches our human resource organization but our extraordinary group somehow takes this on with an always positive attitude as the result is almost always extremely rewarding.

Thanks to all those that offered to foster Beckett and those that generously donated. He is doing fantastic with his foster and is, as we suspected, the kindest and gentlest of giants. We have a wonderful bonded pair of "brothers"  whose first owner passed away, followed by the second owner passing away, followed by the third elderly owner becoming ill.  Winston, 3, and Edgar, 4, have impeccable house manner s, are easy going a nd need to stay together. We are looking for a forever family that will adopt both.  In addition, tomorrow  we are getting in  a super pair of 10 month old sisters that are house and crate trained.

Our greatest need, surprise surprise, are foster families in the Atlanta area. As the summer approaches, please consider treating your family to a giant fluff ball. You will not regret it.

Thank you,
John
