What's Coming Up This Month
Networked Lighting Controls Workshop on the Road
Could your staff and trade allies benefit from a 1- or 2-day Networked Lighting Controls Workshop? Contact John Wilson , Stakeholder Solutions Manager, to find out how to bring the Lab to your backyard!
Where in the world is the
Lighting Design Lab now?

In the past couple months, Shaun has taken the Networked Lighting Controls 1-day Workshop on the road to Vancouver, BC; Boise, ID; Missoula, MT; Bozeman, MT; and Billings, MT! Thanks to BC Hydro, Idaho Power, NorthWestern Energy, Trade Ally Network Northwest, and Montana DEQ, more than 100 lighting professionals have no w designed demonstration systems, and installed and programmed the controls hardware of two industry-leading manufacturers.

April 24 you will find Shaun in Idaho Falls, and the following week in Eugene, OR! For information on these two events, contact Trade Ally Network Northwest.

And that's not all!

After Eugene, he'll hit Portland, and then it's off to LIGHTFAIR ®  International 2019, where he's offering the 2-day Networked Lighting Controls Workshop! It's a pre-conference workshop, so get to Philly early and don't miss out.
LIGHTFAIR ® Will Be Here Before You Know It
Find us at LIGHTFAIR ® International 2019! Irina, John, Armando, Eric, and Shaun will be ready to talk health & lighting, horticultural lighting, and networked lighting and controls.
We'll be in Philly the whole week and are set to share everything we learn with you
in a post-game analysis!
With 2019 well under way and spring just around
the corner, a lighting specialist's thoughts drift
toward LIGHTFAIR ®.

May brings flowers and trade-shows, with
every conceivable lighting and lighting-related
product bursting forth. So, naturally, we will be
looking at the latest in horticulture lighting
products. We will also be looking at everything
from Color Tunable lighting to Data over
Lighting (LiFi); Power over Ethernet (PoE)
applications, to DC Grid light fixtures. Controls are
always popular, and the Internet of Things (IoT)
means everyone gets to be involved.

Following LIGHTFAIR ® International 2019, on June 11, staff from the Lighting Design Lab invite you to participate in a two-way information exchange!

Participants will learn where and why
professionals from the Lab spent their time at
LIGHTFAIR ®.

This webinar will be open to utilities and industry
partners alike, and participants are encouraged to
ask questions and share their own experiences.

Watch for the invite to come with more details!

The Lighting Design Lab is operated by Seattle City Light, with additional funding provided by regional utilities and other organizations.
