Celebrate Culture Days indoors, outdoors and online!

Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. At the end of each September, millions of people attend thousands of free and participatory arts and culture events across the country. This year, Culture Days is growing from three days to a month-long digital virtual celebration!

Running from September 25 to October 25, Culture Days offers free events and activities suitable to physical distancing, including digital presentations, self-guided tours, and pre-registered/drop-in workshops.

Oakville residents will have the opportunity to explore visual arts, dance, trail walks, historic tours, meditation, and more both online and in-person. In-person activities must be pre-booked in advance and will be offered in a way that meets provincial and regional COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
Registration for our snow windrow clearing program is now open

A snow windrow is the pile of snow that is left at the bottom of a driveway after the snow plow has cleared the road. The town's windrow clearing program helps seniors 65+ and people with physical disabilities or medical conditions that are unable to clear the windrow on their own.
