Reminder! The Chamber Office Is Moving On Monday & Will Re-Open on April 2

Our Chamber office and Visitor Center is moving on 3/26/18 to:

note: Our mailing address (PO Box 1203, Bothell, WA 98041) will remain the same.

Our office and center will be closed March 26 - March 30 as we set up and we will be answering emails and phones as able.

Chamber Staff Announcement
    
We are excited to announce Eve Livingston as the Chamber's new Office Manager. Eve has lived in Bothell for 10 years and brings a background in commercial interior design including 15 years as a small business owner. When not working Eve can be found volunteering at the animal rescue agency Greyhound Pets Inc., and walking with her husband and her two dogs on the Burke-Gilman Trail. Eve looks forward to meeting everyone at events and supporting our Bothell and Kenmore communities.

New Community Development Director
  
Welcome Michael Kattermann, who joins the City of Bothell on March 30 as the new Community Development Director. Kattermann comes to Bothell from the City of Bellevue where he is a senior planner. He has been at the City of Bellevue since 2007. He brings expertise in developing housing strategies, coordinating with regional agencies, and working with residents, business owners and developers to implement the City's plans. Full Article

Community Transit Introduces Community Transportation Forum And Walking Tour

Dr. David Bain Speaks At Northshore Senior Center 
April 2018 (see dates below)
Northshore Senior Center, 10201 E. Riverside Drive., Bothell

On April 12 at 10:15am, Dr. David Bain, a founding member of Friends of North Creek Forest will speak at Northshore Senior Center about the Forest's importance to our environment. The City of Bothell finished its purchase of the final 22 acres to complete the North Creek Forest in Nov. 2016. This 64-acre mature site includes 7 streams and 9 wetlands. It is one of the last coniferous forests in the Bothell area.

Dr. Bain will give another presentation on April 26 at 10:15am, also at Northshore Senior Center. His topic will be on Killer Whales. As a whale researcher for 39 years, Dr. Bain is a leading authority on this threatened species. Both talks are free and open to all.

Economic Alliance Snohomish County Welcomes New Director

Participate In The 2018 Eastside Baby Corner Diaper Derby

 
The Diaper Derby is a competitive race to collect diapers for babies living in poverty or crisis. Join Eastside Baby Corner in helping kids beat the odds by giving them what they need for a healthy start in life, and parents what they need to take care of their family.
  
You can register your business or organization to participate and you can also support a business by donating financially online in honor of Diaper Derby as well.  Eastside Baby Corner will support all racers (companies/organizations) with a communications kit, collection boxes, posters, and social media support.
