The following students will be representing St. Luke's in the  Coastal Kids Quiz  competition on April 26, 2018

Shelby Stevens, Kallie Ott, Dean Chastain, Hannah Baker, and Anfisa Frasenyak.

This group has been rigorously preparing for the competition with after school practices and a hands on trip to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Mrs. Dixon took a break from Robotics to make sure our students had an exceptional experience at the Sea Lab. Thank you to this group for representing us in this
elite Science Competition.

Go Wildcats!!
Wow! Once again, you all have exceeded our expectations and helped us surpass our Boosterthon goal of $18,000.00. As of today, we have pledges totaling over $20,000 and over 96% of those pledges have been collected. Your efforts and generosity will allow us to select a specific project to improve our school.

Our top 10 earners rode in style, via limousine, to Chick-fil-A with Dr. Keesee on  March 15th.

Boosterthon Top Ten:
Landon Villegas
Mary-Katherine Brasel
Bennett Wallace
Shelby Stevens
Isabelle Stricklin
Jonah Dominescy
Noah Grafton
Ella Bentley
Olivia Frye
Emma Kate Frazier

Thank you for helping us exceed our goal and for your continued support!
What it means to be a Wildcat

We at the University Campus have begun honoring one student a week as the school flag bearer.  This student is nominated by a teacher and is one who exemplifies the values of St. Luke's school.

The flag is presented to the student  on Friday , and he or she then meets Mr.Anderson to raise the flag until the next flag bearer is named.  Our first flag bearer was Rush Watson. Last week's flag bearer was Noah Chaltain and this week's new  flag bearer is
Claire Hamilton.

Way to go Wildcats!

Brunch with Badges

The faculty and staff planned a special  Brunch for  Badges on March 21, 2018. We invited those who serve in our precinct to drop in between  8:30-10:30

The students made cards and snacks for the 1st responders, telling them how much we appreciate all they do.

Egg Drop Project

Mrs. Haynes students  participated  in a project for Physics. The students were asked to build a device to hold three raw eggs that would be dropped from various heights to explore the concepts of momentum and collisions. The device should be built so that the force of impact on the eggs would be lessoned as they hit the ground.

Bright young minds at work!

We are excited to tell you about a new AmazonSmile promotion that will launch soon. Amazon is tripling the donation amount to 1.5% when customers make their first eligible smile.amazon.com purchase from March 12th - 31st. This is a great opportunity to increase St. Luke's AmazonSmile donations!

Please shop at smile.amazon.com,
from March 12th -31st, for 3x the impact!

Go to smile.amazon.com/ch/63-6005690 and help Amazon donate to St. Luke's Episcopal School.

Go Wildcats!!

Cash Bash is almost upon us and someone is going to win A LOT of money!

Join us for the fun on April 21st at the newly renovated gym on the Japonica Campus.  Once again this year it is super easy to purchase tickets, either fill out the order form and return it with your payment to either Mrs. Sandy on the Lower Campus or to Student Services on the Upper Campus.

You can also purchase online via Smart Tuition,
just click on this link:

*Feel free to share the link, you don't have to be a Smart Tuition
user to buy, it is open to anyone!*

Remember tickets are very limited this year, and this without a doubt is going to be the best Cash Bash yet...

As we did last year the classroom, on the lower campus, that sells the most tickets receives a PIZZA PARTY and the teacher of that class will win a SPA Day! For every ticket you purchase or that is purchased through you (for yourself, family, friends, coworkers, etc). ALL of your Japonica Campus students will get credit (please make sure that the students name is one the order form). For example, if you have 2 students and you buy a ticket, grandparents purchase one ticket and a co-worker buys a ticket, both of your children will get credit for 3 tickets sold.
Likewise for the upper campus students, those who are involved in the sale of a ticket will receive an out of uniform day!
Remember, your ticket not only enters you into the Draw Down, but it provides admission for 2 to the Cash Bash....an adult evening of food, fun, and friendship.  Information will be coming home on a regular basis....but be sure to put the date on your calendar and help us spread the word.

All proceeds benefit St. Luke's!

Spring Festival t-shirt order forms are now available. This form  MUST  be printed and
turned in.

*All orders are due March 28, 2018*
