11:30 am - Contemporary Service (Infant - 5th grade)

star  Financial Peace University
Wednesdays, Beginning June 6th
6:30 - 8:00 pm 
We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) teaches God's ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more! 
  FPU Classes will meet in the Fireside Room each Wednesday evening for 9 weeks, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm beginning June 6th.

Kids age 5-12 are invited to join us from 9 - noon, Monday through Thursday for a fun week! Cost is $25 per child/per camp. Register here for one or both camps.
     Art Camp June 11-14

Kids will get to create fun interactive masterpieces and also enjoy a snack, fun music and a short lesson, all while meeting new friends from the community. Lit Studios will once again be joining us for painting on one of our fun craft days!
  Cooking Camp June 25-28
9:00 - Noon
Kids  will get to become a chef learning 2 recipes a day and get to taste their creation followed by fun music and a short lesson all while meeting new friends from the community.

 Kanakuk KampOut Day Kamp Adventure is for all kids in the Hutchinson area, ages 5 - 12. Sign up at cometokamp.com. Just a few scholarships are still available - if you are thinking about registering do so soon before they are all gone! star Dillon's Card Fundraiser
If you're not already earning money through the Dillon's Community Rewards Program for your student's account, you should be!!! It's a simple 2-step process. Step 1 is for you to login to your Dillon's Shoppers Card Account online and designate HFN as the beneficiary of your Community Rewards. To do this, go to www.dillons.com, login with your username and password, click the "community" tab near the top, and select "Community Rewards". On the page that comes up, either use our "Organization Code" which is 10140, or simply type in "First Church of the Nazarene". A list of organizations should appear. Choose the one with the address of "4290 N. Monroe". After you've done this, all you have to do is visit this page at the end of each quarter and send Pastor Mark a copy/pic of how much you've earned. Earning money to help your student participate in Student Ministry events is that easy!

Our 2018 graduates will line the front of the chapel tonight for interviews, including questions ranging from favorite memories to best advice for our underclassman. It's always a fun time and a night that's loved by all.
star Graduation Sunday,  May 20th
This coming Sunday, May 20th, we will be honoring our 2018 Graduates with video interviews during both morning services. We will briefly recognize our seniors who are present, but they will not be asked to wear their cap and gowns and come forward as they have in the past.

star Year-End Pool Party & Cookout
Next Wednesday, May 23rd 
Celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of summer with a Pool Party & Cookout at the Mann's, 4301 Spyglass Drive. We'll gather from 6:30-8:30 as we normally do, and all students will need to bring is a towel and swimsuit. Students will need to be picked up and dropped off at the Mann's that evening. 
star  House Painting Project
 On Wednesday, May 30th, we will be spending our Mid-Week gathering time partnering with Innerfaith Housing and helping paint a house at 429 W. Ave. A here in Hutch. Students can be dropped off (6:30) and picked up (8:30) at that location that evening. While the paint will be provided, we will be providing our own rollers, brushes, etc. If you have equipment available please bring it with you.

star High School Summer Mission Trip
We are altering our mission trip plans a bit and shifting our course farther south. Instead of spending a week in Houston, we are now going to be heading to Corpus Christi to assist with ongoing recovery efforts associated with Hurricane Harvey. Our trip dates will remain the same, July 8-14. More specifics will be available in the next couple of weeks. A sign up sheet will be posted in the chapel.

Check it Out! 2017-18 Mission Education Books are available for check out at the Welcome Center next to the Church Office. You are welcome to select a book of your choosing and take it home with you to read. Please record any books checked out in the notebook that is located next to the mission books and return the book as soon as possible so others may read it. New mission books will arrive this summer.
