Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines a hands-on farm activity with your young child and listening to a story highlighting the crop or farm area. Parents and caregivers and young children are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about farm animals. We will read books about farm animals followed by an educational component. Then everyone will participate in a farm craft activity with wool from Terhune Orchards sheep! Cost is $8 per child.

Pick Your Own Asparagus Continues! Try your hand at Pick Your Own - no tools needed.
Did you know?
Asparagus is a perennial crop. It takes 3 years after planting the "roots" of this crop, for the plant to establish itself and we can begin harvesting. The shoots grow 6-8 inches each day and if we are lucky we can pick daily for 4-6 weeks.
Fresh bunches also available in the farm store.
Spring Plants - Time for Planting
Terhune has a wide array of flowering bedding plants, organic herb plants and beautiful hanging baskets. Tomato plants and vegetable plants will get a jump start on your garden.
