Flood Control Solution Maximizes Tax Dollars

LWDD Director of Operations and Maintenance Tommy Strowd, P.E., presents flood control alternatives in the southwestern portion of the District for the replacement of Control Structure 20 and expansion of E-1WS and L-42W Canals, resulting in several million dollars in savings to the Lake Worth Drainage District.
Policy Revision That May Affect You

For public safety reasons, the District has modified Operating Policy 3.6 regarding permits for docks, davits and boat lifts within its canal system. These revisions may affect some residents living along a District canal.
