"Forever improving the lives of animals in our community"

Captain came to us from a community cat colony with a severe injury to his leg. It was determined that amputation was necessary and now that he has recovered he is ready for a home! He must have had a home at some point because he is friendly and just loves to nap and snuggle.

  • March 12th: National Napping Day
  • March 13th: National K9 Veterans Day
  • March 17th: St Patrick's Day Parade:
    • Noon on Henrietta by Memorial Park
    • Ends at the High school
    • Mayor of Divide Candidates will be there and we will have a voting table
  • March 18-24th: National Poison Prevention Week: Poison emergency? Call the APCC hotline at 888-426-4435
  • March 23rd: National Puppy Day

As you can see, we have a full calendar of events in addition to the daily operational needs at the shelter.  Our volunteers are a vital and integral part of everything we do to help care for our furry guests.

Joe Cool is our 14 year old member of the grey muzzle club! He has minor health issues and deserves to enjoy his twilight years in a home that will love him and give him attention. He was found as a stray, and his people never came looking for him.

Do you know that TCRAS has a designated Amazon Smile link?  We receive 0.5% on every purchase.  Please designate TCRAS as your charity via this link.  Our furry friends would do it but they don't have fingers...or access to our computers!!

Pet of the Month

Marley Mutt is still waiting patiently for his forever people.  He loves to play with toys, go on hikes and have his belly scratched! He is a young guy, and has been our guest for some time.  We'd love it if he could find his forever family soon!
