May 2018
As the year winds down, school academics and activities kick into high gear! But among all the testing, final projects and last lessons, teachers sprinkle in some FUN.

Carnival & Alumni Tailgate
Current families, alumni and neighbors gathered for the annual Spring Carnival the first weekend of May. Families enjoyed bounce house & slide, climbing wall, mechanical bull, games, silent auction, baked sale, food tents and more. This event is "all hands on deck" for parents and staff to create a great day for everyone.

Spring Field Trips
Students take several field trips in the spring i ncluding visits to theaters , museums (including two  in Washington D.C.), a farm and the botanical gardens. A highlight for the middle school is an overnight field trip with the James River Association.

Talent Show, Spring Drama, and
Art & STEM Show
Students also have  opportunities to showcase their presentation skills at the school's Talent Show or the Spring Drama  ("The Tortoise and the Hare; Take T wo, This Time It's Personal"). All students participate in providing work for the annual Art & STEM Showcase and many act as docents or make live performances.

A planned gift is yet another way to express a commitment to the mission of All Saints. This is an opportunity to sustain a cause, in perpetuity.

Through a charitable bequest in your will or living trust, you can ensure that All Saints will keep its doors open to qualified students whose families cannot afford the full cost of a private Catholic education. Once you have provided for loved ones in your will, you may want to include a gift of money, stock or property to the school.

Your gift will be a lasting tribute to your passion for Catholic education while guaranteeing All Saints' long-term future. This thoughtful act, which has little or no current financial impact on you, may result in the largest and most lasting one-time gift you ever make to the school.

Anyone can make a bequest; wealth is not a factor . The average bequest in the U.S. is $35,000. PASSION is the leading factor in making a legacy gift.

If you have the PASSION, please consider joining the All Saints Catholic School Legacy Society.  Contact Alyssa McBride, 804 329-7524 x 108 [email protected]
