April in Truro...
     This month we pick up 88 minutes of additional daylight, enough to bring temperatures up about 9 degrees from March.
     According to past records, we can expect an average temperature to 45°F, with average lows of 37°F and highs of 52°F. We traditionally get an average total of 3 inches of rain and only 1 inch of snow. It's early spring, and the above-freezing temperatures and rain will melt any snow piles and thaw the frozen ground.

Again this April, Truro will join people from around the world in support of Autism Awareness Month by lighting up their communities in BLUE. Truro Historical Society
LODGING NEEDED FOR OUR INTERN! The Truro Historical Society Summer Intern works from 6/1 to 9/30 at the Highland House Museum and the Cobb Archive to learn about our history and how a small museum functions. Perhaps you remember Emmy, our 2016 Intern, and Jason, who was with us last summer. Do you have a room (ideally with kitchen privileges) you'd be willing to rent out? Argentine Tango Beginners Class

Transfer Station Closed Wednesday and Thursday
The Transfer Station will be closed Wednesday and Thursday until April 30th, 2018. Going forward, the Transfer Station will also be closed on Patriot's Day.
