The Escondido Chamber of Commerce has a long history of collaboration with the Escondido Union High School District. From the inception of M.A.P., which guarantees admission to CAL State through the completion of high school courses, community involvement and attendance, to our latest endeavor, Rising Star Student of the Month.
When we launched this program last year, it was our goal to provide one scholarship to each of our seven high schools in the EUHS district. Due to the tremendous support from our community, we will be awarding fourteen students with a $1,000 scholarship. The awards will be presented on Sunday, during the Grand Ave Festival at 10:00am on the Maple Street Plaza stage.
The chamber can accomplish so much when like minded people come together, share their vision and create opportunities. We are looking forward to another year of Rising Star.  Hope you can join us for the presentation of awards and partner with us in the Fall of 2018.
Sincerely,

Rorie Johnston
