Welcome to the musical season.  This is the time of year when our cupboards turn into props, our best dresses and suits suddenly go missing, and throughout the house we hear our students humming the bars to popular Broadway productions.  This year is the Music Man.

Our Upper School music and drama classes will hold three performances on February 16 and 17 of the musical for family and community members throughout Pitt County. A musical is a massive undertaking of memorizing lines, singing in harmony, and learning the choreography that goes into the show.  To put on the performance, we need a full-size stage with sound, lighting, props, camera and plenty of action.  We need all the help we can get so check out our needs in the announcement block below.

This year our conference companion, John Paul II Catholic High School, graciously offered us use of their newly remodeled auditorium to host the musical.  This partnership between schools may seem a bit unorthodox, but it represents a sincere desire to better the entire community through cooperation between schools.  We are grateful for their hospitality.

Now all we need is practice, practice, practice, costumes, props, volunteers, and your prayers for health over Mrs. Holler and all her students.  Also we need you to go ahead and reserve your tickets for the performance of your choice.

Times and listings are available on the website, and you will have priority seating for the show in which you buy your tickets.  Please mark the date and spread the word.  The Music Man is coming to town February 16 and 17.

Upper and Lower School Dress Uniforms Required
Our annual poetry recital is coming soon!

Each year our students in grades Kindergarten through 12 choose and commits to memory a poem by a published author. After weeks of practice, students will publicly recite their poem in front of a small audience of peers and family.  Your child's poetry recital date will be published in the near future.  The week of recitals is scheduled for March 19 - 23.

It is important that parents remember students are required to wear their formal dress uniform on their poetry recital date.  If you are unfamiliar with our formal dress code policy, refer to page 22 of our Family Handbook.

Music Man Musical Special Needs
Christ Covenant School music department presents... The Music Man!

We're having 3 performances!
Friday, February 16 @ 7 pm
Saturday, February 17 @ 3 pm
Saturday, February 17 @ 7 pm

Tickets are available on our website.  Click here to reserve your tickets!

If you want to purchase tickets for more than one performance, you must buy a ticket for each performance attended.

Since our venue is a little smaller this year, we've decided to not offer family passes.  However, we've reduced the price of advance online sales to help make up for this difference.  This should allow us to accurately count the seats sold.
