In addition to Amazon.com and bbotw.com , my books have also been available at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund gift shop ( www.nleomf.org ). I would suggest buying my books from the Memorial's gift shop first, if they have them in stock. This way the Memorial will benefit from any purchases you might want to make. You can also contact me and I can mail you an autographed copy, if you would like that. My e-mail address is listed below.
DID YOU KNOW THAT....

There   are over 900,000 sworn law enforcement officers in the United States. Approximately 12% are female.

The first recorded police death was on October 22, 1791. Sheriff Cornelius Hogeboom of Hudson, New York, was shot as he attempted to serve a writ of ejectment. Ten men were charged with the murder, but all were acquitted.

There are 21,183 names engraved on the walls of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

During the past 10 years a total of 1,512 law enforcement officers died in the line of duty. This averages out to one law enforcement death every 63 hours. In 2017, 128 law enforcement officers were killed in the line of duty.

How You Can Assist A Law Enforcement Family In Need Of Help
A little over one year ago, in December of 2016, Officer Jackie Tucker (Saraland P.D., Alabama) was shot in the head when she and her partner responded to a domestic-type call. She is now permanently disabled and she continues her rehabilitation in Mobile, Alabama. Her husband Aaron is also a police officer with Mobile P.D. and he has had to take an extended leave so he can spend as much time with Jackie, as possible. The couple has two children that need to be cared for, too.

The story of Officer Jackie Tucker , and her husband Aaron, is a tragic one. On January 11 th Mobile P.D. had their annual Law Enforcement Prayer Luncheon and raised $4,117.00 to assist the Tucker family. Jackie was also honored as “Our Hometown Hero.” If you would like to make a donation to the Tucker family you can send it to:

Chaplain Ed Connick
Mobile Police Department
2460 Government Blvd.
Mobile, Alabama 36606

No donation is to small and you will be helping one of our own law enforcement families in need.

Click on the "Book Review" logo and you will be taken to my publisher's online bookstore. Go to the "True Crime" section to read the book reviews already there, or to make a new one. Thank you!

Please, take care AND stay safe!
