From your Principal...
Dear STM Families,

A heartfelt Thank You to all our parents for a wonderful Teachers Appreciation Week.  The treats and personal attention were very much appreciated.  We are so blessed to have all of you as part of our STM Family.

As a reminder, all students are invited to bring in $3.00 to be used to purchase a special gift in recognition of Fr. Hai's 19th Anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood.  STM is very blessed to have Fr. Hai as our Pastor.  He is very supportive of the school and loves our students. As a sign of our love and support, we would like to present him with a new Censer.  Please see details here .

Mark your calendars to join us at our Barnes & Noble Bookfair held on May 22nd at the Buffalo Speedway and Holcombe store location. Barnes & Nobel will have our required Summer Reading Books available for purchase.  I am so excited as I will be reading a story to the children that evening.  Please see the details below.

Our Student Council is heading up a Fundraiser in support of Unbound Catholic Charities.  Students can wear a Hawaiian Shirt or Houston Rockets Shirt with uniform bottoms tomorrow, Wednesday 5/16/18,  if they bring in $1.00 to contribute to this fundraiser.  See details here

Yours in Christ,

Kristen Thome

School Uniforms...
As many of you know, Parker Uniform filed bankruptcy this school year. After meeting with many vendors, we have decided to proceed with Mills Uniform as our supplier.  At this time, the decision has been made to update our look and return to our original school colors.  Starting next year, our uniform will be: red polo shirt, white dress uniform shirt, red cardigan and v-neck sweater, black fleece jackets, khaki shorts and pants, as well as a navy tie for the middle school boys.  All tops, sweaters and jackets will have out St. Thomas More School logo embroidered on them.  Our plaid will stay the same, however, short and skirt options have been updated to a more comfortable fit for our girls.   Please know that previous plaid items will still be allowed and we will transition out of our green polo shirts over the next (3) school years.

Mills is working hard to get our items in their stores and anticipate availability mid-late June .  They will start sizing and taking orders for our items in June and will ship backordered items as they are available. Families will not be charged for backordered items until they ship.

We will keep you updated as information and availability is provided to us.  We look forward to a clean fresh look on our students next year and appreciate your support of the new uniform program.
