These past few weeks have been very exciting for Allison and her team! All of their hard work and preparation over the past few months paid off in a huge way with lots of top finishes to kick off the 2018 eventing season. Allison was thrilled with her horse's winter progress and couldn't have been more proud of them as they strutted their stuff at both the Pine Top Horse Trials in Georgia and the Paradise Farm Horse Trials in Aiken, South Carolina.
At Pine Top, Allison and her team picked up their first win of the season right out of the gate as the Lord Willing Syndicate's Lord Willing took home the win in the Intermediate division. His barn mates, the Business Ben Partnership's Business Ben and Athlone Anto Syndicate's Fernhill Casano, performed superbly as well and showed off everything they learned over the winter. It was an exceptional way to kick off the season and Allison followed it up with more excellent finishes just last weekend at Paradise where Kaylin Dines's Unbridled Numbers and Nancy Winter's Crystal Crescent Moon, in their Training and Novice divisions respectively. Her entire team impressed and Allison is really looking forward to the next few months with each of her mounts.
Up next for Allison was the Pine Top Advanced Horse Trials last weekend. There, Allison rode both Fernhill Casano and Lord Willing in their Advanced debuts and Business Ben in his second Intermediate start of the season. All three horses were phenomenal and Allison also couldn't have been more thrilled with the way that both horses handled the new challenge. The courses were tough but they didn't put a foot wrong. It was an exceptional weekend, however, Allison wouldn't have been able to do any of it without all of your support. She feels so lucky to have you all on her team and is excited to continue to share many more exciting moments together this spring!
