RELIGIOUS SCHOOL UPDATE

From Morah Miriam – 2nd Grade and 4th Grade Judaica:
"In our 2nd Grade class this week, we started working on our creation books! Although it took only 7 days to finish Creation according to the Bible, it will most likely take us a bit longer! The children are learning about what was created on which day (the stars and sky, earth and water, sky and land animals, etc) and Hebrew vocabulary to go along with that. So far, we've actually completed four days! The students are excited to create their books and to share the stories with you!"

Please note:
Monday, February 12th, 4:15 pm: Parent Committee meeting (Room 4)
Friday, February 9th 5:30-6:30pm: TK-3rd Grade Shabbat
Monday, February 19th: NO SCHOOL
FROM THE PRESIDENT
We’ve reached the halfway point toward our goal of 100% member participation in our annual Temple Shalom pledge drive and I hope today will be the day that you will donate! Mike Rosenberg, one of the founders of Temple Shalom and a long-standing Board Member, has presented us with a challenge that we can only achieve with your help.  If we reach 100% member participation in our annual pledge drive by the end of February, he will donate an additional $5,000  because he knows how important it is for every one of us to invest in sustaining and growing our community.

As you consider making your donation, know that all contributions, at any level , are greatly appreciated and fully deductible as a charitable donation.  You can  click here  to donate with a credit card or if you would prefer to send in a check that's fine as well.

Thank you!
