Lower Cape community needs
The desire for family activities and gathering places for youth in the Lower Cape region was clearly indicated in a recent survey conducted by the YMCA Cape Cod. To better understand how the organization might help provide offerings for families living in the towns of Brewster, Chatham, Dennis, Harwich, Yarmouth and Orleans, the YMCA Cape Cod recently surveyed the Lower Cape community about programs and services addressing critical issues in the areas of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. EforAll South Coast awards $15,000
to new local businesses White's of Westport hosted a talented group of 15 entrepreneurs that celebrated the culmination of a 12-week intensive Entrepreneurship for All Accelerator Program. After much success in Lowell and Lawrence, EforAll expanded its operations to the South Coast in 2015. EforAll awarded $15,000 in cash prizes and an additional dedicated award to the entrepreneurs. 2018 ILC Immigrant Entrepreneur Award
Forty Massachusetts residents from 24 countries who founded businesses in 18 Massachusetts communities, from Hyannis to Springfield, have been nominated for The 2018 ILC Immigrant Entrepreneur Awards - including two from Cape Cod.
