Meet Jyoti Sardana & Enrico Clarke!

Jyoti and Enrico are both second years, Montgomery County, MD natives, and Double Terps! They are fans of fast casual dining (Jyoti prefers Cava while Enrico's favorite is Chipotle) and their dream jobs are both associated with the NFL.

Learn more about why they decided to become Ambassadors and what they do to help admitted students as they begin their Smith School journeys. What differences have Jyoti and Enrico noticed between being an undergrad and an MBA at Maryland? Check out our blog to find out!
Leadership Under Fire Annual Crisis Case Competition
Save the Date for this unique Case Competition

Friday, April 6, 2018
Van Munching Hall
College Park, MD

On Friday, April 6th, the Smith School's  FT MBA Professional Communications Club and the Net Impact Club will be hosting  Leadership Under Fire, a unique annual crisis case competition.

This competition places MBA students in the role of corporate executives as they address the immediate impact of an unfolding corporate crisis. Students will be organized in teams of three, playing the roles of a senior management team. They will be introduced to a social or environmental crisis that has just affected their company, and prepare a press release based on the situation presented in the case. There will be room for a maximum of four part-time teams in this event.

A volunteer press corps will question the student teams based on their presented press release, expecting the same participation and transparency as is expected of real corporate executives.

The competition is truly about showing "grace under press" and "courage under fire," hence, why we call it "Leadership Under Fire".

Prize money of $900.00 will be available to winning teams. For questions, contact Karolyn Maynard, President of the Professional Communications Club.
