Practice of the Week

Just keep making effort in the direction of fulfillment of the aspiration but don't expect to complete the job. You will always have more to do. To commit to something you actually could accomplish is.... READ MORE
From the Minister

In 2018, we've had a "Faith Development Friday" once a month. We've had three so far, and the April event will be on Fri Apr 13. It's great! We gather for dinner and fellowship at 6-ish, and programming starts at 7:00. I've been having a great time leading an exploration of aspects of UU history. On Fri Mar 16, we... READ MORE

UUA Call for Personal Testimony
The UUA's Commission on Institutional Change requests personal accounts and stories about how racism has affected individuals and groups within Unitarian Universalism at the personal, institutional, or systemic levels. It is seeking to document incidents that occurred between individual UUs, within a congregational or Associational setting, or as a result of white-centeredness embedded within the greater UU culture. More info HERE.

Volunteer Drivers Needed

The Afghan family that CUUC is sponsoring is settling into their new life here in White Plains. The children have begun signing up for activities so we will be needing additional drivers for spring and summer. To add your name to our list of volunteers, contact Paula Meighan ([email protected]).
Greeters Needed

Make our Sunday visitors feel welcome - come a little early to share your smile and a warm greeting. You can sign up for one or more Sundays HERE. Contact: Jane Dixon [email protected]).
Hearthkeepers Wanted

The Hearthkeepers keep our Sunday services warm in the winter by preparing for and tending the fire in our sanctuary fireplace. We are looking for new members to join us in this important work next year. Interested? Contact: John Schwam ([email protected]).
Cooperative Coffee Hour

Cooperative Coffee Hour, Sun Apr 1
Easter is a time for sharing special treats. We invite all who will be attending worship to bring along a goodie to help fill the table for next Sunday's Cooperative Coffee Hour. Then pitch in to help us set up, serve, and clean up together. Many hands make light work!
