Think the Incredibles are incredible? Bet you will be amazed by the skills and talents of the Hickory Knolls critters! Drop in each afternoon to meet a critter and see what makes nature super. A different critter will be featured each afternoon.

What can you find in the natural areas of Hickory Knolls? Head to the trails, be creative and snap a photo of your discoveries. When you return you will earn a prize!
Activity is self-guided. Adults are free.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Ages 2-12
Th Aug 9 | 7-8pm
Have you ever wondered about what happens at the center when it's closed? We will share our secret world with your stuffed animal friends. On Thursday, August 9, drop off your stuffed animal friend and enjoy a goodnight story time program before you tuck in your stuffed animal for the night. On Friday, August 10 come back to pick up your stuffed animal plus a keepsake memento.
Summer Family Fun Hike
Ages 2+

Start the day with some fun as you explore the woods. Hike over moderate terrain as you enjoy the wonders of the natural world. Beat the summer heat and see what critters await.
Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

You Rock!
Ages 4+
There's a movement of kindness going on in the world. How? By painting rocks into works of art and hiding them for others to find. It's a simple way to give back and bring a little happiness to your own life. Join us as we paint rocks, then go on a hike to hide them. There will be plenty to take home too. Come, share some joy. You will never look at rocks the same way again!
Ages 7 & under must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are free.

Fantastic Forts
Ages 7-12
W Jul 11 | 1-2:30pm
Take a hike... out to a secret spot to create a hidden haven! Learn how to construct a fort, then use your imagination and various natural resources to build your own. Wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.
