Law Enforcement Torch Run Call Center at Denver7

On March 9th, our Law Enforcement Torch Run partners and our Young Athletes took part in a Donation Call Center at Denver7 News. Twelve officers took phone donations and raised $7,000 for our Young Athletes Program. A huge thank you to everyone who made a donation and to Denver7 who helped us raise awareness of the tremendous support the law enforcement community gives to Special Olympics Colorado athletes. Mandi DeWitt Wins 2018 SPARC Award!

Congratulations to our Director of Young Athletes Mandi DeWitt, who will be receiving a 2018 SPARC Award as a Community Champion! The Arc SPARC Awards honor those that selflessly serve and aid our communities and demonstrate extraordinary leadership, changing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Mandi has worked at Special Olympics Colorado for the past 13 years and started our Young Athletes program 10 years ago. To date, more than 19,000 kids ages 2 to 7 with and without intellectual disabilities have participated in the Young Athletes Program through our school and community programs. Congratulations on this well- deserved award, Mandi!

Coaches Clinics Coming Up!

Coaches are the key to a successful sports experience for Special Olympics athletes. As a coach, you give Special Olympics athletes the most immediate awareness of their self-worth, ability, courage, and capacity to grow and improve both on the playing field and in life. This Tax Season, Do Something Special

At Special Olympics Colorado , inclusion matters. We practice it every day. Our goal is to end discrimination against individuals with intellectual disabilities and WE NEED YOUR HELP . Whether you are getting a tax refund or not, you can make a donation to Special Olympics Colorado on line 11 of the Colorado tax form. State Basketball Tournament

Congratulations to the 1,200 athletes and unified partners (120 teams) who competed at the 3-day State Basketball Tournament at Gold Crown Fieldhouse.
