Twist Ties, Binder Clips, Rubber Bands and Workplace Issues - Spring Cleaning Time
Spring is here and with that comes the inevitable urge to get my house in order. The whole house cleaning and annual purging of the junk drawer always comes with a renewed resolve - I won't let this mess happen again this year. T hen the inevitable twist ties, binder clips and rubber bands somehow blossom and multiply in those junk drawers like dandelions in the yard, leaving me with yet another opportunity to tackle the problem again next year.

Not keeping my home in "order" is one thing.  Y ou know as well as I do that it's a whole different situation at work.  If we fail to proactively address the workplace issues that inevitably germinate and grow like those pesky dandelions, the stakes are way higher.

Is Your Organization Ready for the Next Generation?
Gary J. Mertz, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Learning and Development Consultant

Each of these generations brings with it its own ideas and perspectives about what things should be like at work. Business and market demands along with fierce global competition make it more important than ever for our organizations to work together to be more effective. To bridge the generational gaps in our organizations it is important for us to better understand our own generations, how we developed our ideas and perspectives and also understand the other generations around us.
