Welcome to your emailed Friday Folder. Thank you for choosing to reduce our paper usage by receiving announcements by email. These flyers are also available on the Cossitt PTC website.
Original Works
Original Works order information was sent home with your child this week.   Orders must be placed online, through April 9.  Orders will be delivered to school in late April or early May.   

The information sent home includes an individualized sheet from Original Works that contains a unique code that will link you to our school site and your child's artwork.  You will need this code to access the site and place orders.  Please note that the sample magnets that accompanied order material in the past are not included this year, but can be ordered online.

To place an order online, click on the link below.  Use the personalized order code found on your's child's letter with his/her artwork and follow the directions to order your child's amazing creation.

D102 Race to the Finish
Ready, set, go ...  Registration is up and running for the D102 Race to the Finish!  

The 5K and 1 mile run/walk will take place on  Sunday, April 29th at 8:30 am, so save the date!  It doesn't matter if you are a super speed runner or a super slow walker - please plan to join us for a great time while benefiting the D102 schools!!

6th Grade CCC Yearbook Photos
Calling all 6th Graders... The Cossitt Yearbook needs you!  This year's 6th Grade CCC takes place in May - too late to take photos for the yearbook.  Instead, pictures will be staged on April 4 in the MPR at 2:35pm.  All 6th graders are invited to participate.  Please see the flyer below for more information.
Grades 4-6 Flying High Pizza FUNdraiser
Calling all 4th-6th graders!  Join us for a Flying High Pizza FUNdraiser on  Saturday, April 28, 7:30-9:30pm !

District 102 Positive School Climate Committee Presentation
Please join us on Wednesday April 11th for an inspirational night with Lynn Kachmarik , internationally renowned speaker on character development, leadership, and teamwork.  Lynn is a former US Olympic Athlete and the founder of True Brand Sports which provides workshops around the world to improve the sport culture at the youth, high school, and collegiate level.  

Lynn Kachmarik will host an interactive forum: How To Raise Great Kids and What Parents Need To Know About The Impact Technology Is Having On Our Children & Families
Date:  Weds, April 11th
Time 7 - 8:15pm
Place:  Park Jr High Auditorium

Cossitt PTC Fun Fact!
Thanks to the terrific fundraising efforts and generous donations of
so many Cos si tt families, the PTC budgeted approximately $25,000 t owards curricular supplemental support for  Cossitt classrooms for thi s school  year. 

Through Art Appreciation, as semblies  and workshops, CCCs, LRC support and so much more, we are able to truly enhance the the educational experience of all of our students beyond the c urriculum alone.  
PIMA Flying High Pizza FUNdraiser
Looking for something for your kids to do on the last day of Spring Break? PIMA is hosting a pizza   LUNCH  party FUNdraiser at Flying High on
Friday, March 30 , 12noon-3pm. Yes - the pizza  is  included.  Pre-register before 11:59pm on Wednesday March 28  to get a price break! Click on the link below for a copy of the flyer with all the details.
