Ellen Leng (BS in Chemistry and Biochemistry, 1985)
Moved to Texas and worked as a chemist for Southwest Research in San Antonio doing work related to clean up of EPA Superfund sites for 3 years. Went to Medical School in San Antonio and moved to California to pursue Emergency Medicine. Love California and the SF Bay Area; still working in the Emergency Department and active in local EMS and trauma care.
Cliff Osborn (BA in Chemistry, 1985;
BS ChE 1985; MS Eng Sci RPI, 1994)
I joined IBM in 1989 working in the microelectronics division. I've held a variety of development engineering positions in both packaging and semiconductor technologies. After IBM divested the microelectronics division in 2015 I joined IBM research. I'm currently working on advanced semiconductor nodes. Although I work with research teams in NY and VT, I now reside at IBM Tucson. It's great to be back! Working in IBM research has continued to be an amazing collaborative experience. It's technically challenging and I'm grateful to be part of such a talented team.
