Students able to use the technology of Silver Level Member Shark Ninja
Though we have some favorite spaces in Stocking Hall including the Dairy Bar, another great space that we have available to our students and IPP members is the Product Development Kitchen; a commercial kitchen where many of our students come up with products for a number of product development competitions around the world.

We recently purchased a highly rated Shark Vacuum and Ninja Blender for use in the Product Development Kitchen.

Our First All Member Meeting will take place in June! Don't miss out on this opportunity to network with other members!
Please join us Tuesday, June 26th at Cornell University for our All Member Meeting. This event will take place in Stocking Hall  and will bring together our member companies from throughout the Food System. We are planning an exciting agenda with time for networking with CIFS-IPP member companies and opportunities to connect with faculty.

More information and the agenda will follow closer to the meeting date. We understand that this conflicts with the American Dairy Science Association Annual Meeting. We'd like to have five attendees from each of our member companies to fill the Conference Center!

Please note this is transferable to colleagues throughout your organization and we encourage you to pass this to others who may want to learn more about the Industry Partnership Program.

Yeast research aims to reduce stress for New York wineries
Patrick Gibney , assistant professor and the E&J Gallo Sesquicentennial Faculty Fellow in the  Department of Food Science , is working out how metabolic pathways within a yeast cell determine those changes, with implications for how wine is produced.

"Yeast has many significant, perhaps underappreciated, impacts on the public," said Gibney. "It is critical for producing beer, wine and cider. Yeast is also a common food ingredient additive, and is used to produce vaccines and other compounds in the biotech industry. This tiny organism has an enormous impact on human life." Read more
