Parish Cycle of Prayer
In our Parish Cycle of Prayer, we pray for our clergy: Brendan, Christine and Ken. We also pray for the households of Adam and Kelly McGuffie, John Meissner, Susy Merkarski and Andy and Kathy Miller.

The Annual Meeting will be held after EACH service in the Nave, with hearty appetizers. Hear all the great things that happened at St. Francis in 2019. Also, meet the candidates and vote for new Vestry members and Diocesan Convention delegates.

Click here for the Annual Repo r t . The Vestry Nominee bios are included.
Only a few printed copies will be available at the meeting.

There will be no Adult formation this week because we will be holding the Annual Meeting after both services.
Adult Formation will resume on February 2.
On February 2 and 9 , Deacon Ken and Brendan will be leading a conversation about Ian Markham's book Why Suffering?
February 16 and 23, Adult formation will focus on the Bishop Search Process and the Transition to a new Bishop. Cindy Russell, who is on the Bishop Search Committee, and Terri Hoffman, who is on the Bishop Transition Committee, will be describing the processes and what the Bishop does. Please join us in the conference room in the Parish Hall at 9:15 am.

Lenten Booklet
In the past several years, during the season of Lent, we were all given a charming little booklet, with meditations for each day of Lent. The entries consisted of original prose and poems, as well as submissions of favorite poems, psalms, Bible passages, uplifting thoughts, points to ponder, and children’s artwork.
The entries came from us-- from our wonderful, talented St. Francis parishioners, from young and old, and drew us closer together for our Lenten journey.

We need your submissions in order to do this!! Ash Wednesday is February 26th, but the entries should be in by Sunday, February 16th. Start your thinking, and send in your pearls of wisdom, your jewels of thoughts, as soon as possible.
They may be sent to the church office , or given to Deacon Ken or me. Many Thanks!!
Jane Domagalski
*Names on the submissions are optional*

St. Francis will be launching a new website in the next few weeks
There will photos of parishioners and children on the site. These photos may change with new events. If anyone wants to “opt out” of having their photo on the website, please notify the office as soon as possible.
We are also planning on having an online directory with a password for parishioners only. Also let the office know if you want to “opt out” of the online directory.

You are cordially invited to Catechumenate 2020 beginning February 2
If you are new to St. Francis, new to church, would like to be baptized or just get to know folks better, please join us. We meet Sundays from noon until about 2:00 pm for about three months, share prayers and reflection, stories, lunch and information about the blessings and responsibilities of baptism in the Episcopal Church. There is no homework and no pressure, just interesting, inspiring and important time spent in community.
Contact Terri Hoffmann , Christopher Onstad or Brendan+ for more information, or just take the leap and sign up in the narthex! We hope to have you with us.

Backpack Buddies
There will not be packing needed for the month of January, so please put February 10 and 11 on your calendars. Sorting is at 3:00 pm Monday and packing is at 9:00 am on Tuesday. There is a sign-up sheet at the Information Center.

There will be a baptism on Sunday, February 16 at the 10:30 am services. Anyone wishing to be baptized on either date, please contact Father Brendan.

The office is in need of a volunteer on Fridays
