School Governance Election
Voting closes today at 5:00 pm
Parents and guardians are encouraged to check their email for a ballot from Fulton County School Governance & Flexibility. This is your opportunity to vote for the two parent representative positions on the Cambridge School Governance Council. It is very important that your voice is heard in choosing your representation.

Voting closes today at 5:00 pm.

Parent Round Table  Discussion
Tuesday, March 27
Join other parents for a discussion with Dr. Spurka on Tuesday, March 27, from 9:00 am until 10:30 pm. The topic is: "How do you motivate your child to maintain positive behavior and how do you hold them accountable when they don't?" The discussion will be held in room 2.428.
Check Out Procedures
Friday, March 30, 2018
Due to the volume of parents and guardians requesting to check out their student(s) on the Friday before a school break, we have put into place the following checkout procedures for Friday, March 30, 2018.
  • Parents and guardians planning to check out their student Friday, March 31 must have a signed and dated note to the Attendance Office by 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 29.

  • Students who have submitted a checkout note before 4:00 pm on Thursday should pick up their pass Friday morning before the bell rings. The student should show their pass to their teacher to leave at their checkout time, reducing disruption to the classroom. Students will need to sign out at the Attendance Office before leaving campus.

  • For students who did not submit a prior checkout note, please be aware that due to the volume of checkouts on Friday, March 30, the Attendance Office cannot accept telephone calls or emails to arrange for a checkout. Parents will need to come to the Attendance Office in person to check out their student.

Tech Tips for Students
Technology check
Effective immediately, all students will need to restart their Surface each day  as we begin to prepare for the April End of Course (EOC) tests.  The technology department will be sending required updates to all Fulton County devices daily, and failure to receive the updates may interfere with the optimal operation of your Surface.

If you are currently experiencing problems with your device, you will need to report the issues to the Help Desk, located in the Student Center.

Fulton County student email
It is critical for all students to check their Fulton County email every day. Daily ann ou ncements, called Cambridge Headlines, are pushed to students through their email accounts that provide  information on activities, resources, and deadlines. Also, the Cambridge Administration sends important information to all students; including information on security and safety.

To access Student Fulton County email from any device:
1. Open a web browser and go to  portal.office.com
2. Log into Office 365 using:
                              Username: [email protected]
Password: birthdate (mmddyyyy) or their unique password

3. Once logged into Office 365, select the Mail app to view important email from Cambridge Headlines, teachers and staff.
4. The first time you access Office 365 Mail, you will need to select your time zone and save it.

Students should come to the Student Center to see Mrs. Morgan, Mrs. Macleod, or the Help Desk if you are having problems with your Surface or you cannot access your email account.

For detailed instructions, download a step-by-step instruction guide.

2018 Baccalaureate and Volunteer Donations
The Cambridge High School 2018 Baccalaureate ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, May 20, 2018, at  4:00 pm at Stonecreek Church.

For those that are not sure what the ceremony is about....Baccalaureate is a non-denominational, faith-based service of worship that celebrates graduating seniors.  It is a parent-sponsored, parent-funded, pre-graduation event.  Families come together with praise and with thanksgiving for the successful completion of one chapter in the lives of their children and the opening of another. It is a very special time, and we look forward to celebrating our seniors as 2018 Class of Cambridge High School.

Because this is a faith-based event, it is not sponsored by the school or the PTSA.  We depend entirely on individual donations to cover the cost of this event.  Your $20 donation will help pay for printing, postage, food, decorations, and any other fees associated with the service.
Checks should be made out to Michel Kish.  There is a Baccalaureate donation box in the front office at Cambridge, or you can mail your donation to:

Michel Kish
565 Cogburn Ridge Way
Alpharetta, GA 30004

We encourage all seniors to participate regardless of ability to contribute.  Participation in Baccalaureate is voluntary.  Seniors wear their graduation gown, stole, and honor cords or medals for the service.  They do not wear or bring cap.

Please R.S.V.P to  [email protected] for attending the ceremony. Include the senior's name and the number of family and guests attending the service along with optional donation. Donations and RSVPs will also be accepted at CHS Senior Meeting on April 16, 2018

If your child would like to be involved through music, the reading of a bible verse, or an inspirational poem, please have them email Madeline Davis [email protected].

Thank you for supporting these wonderful young people during this milestone in their lives.  If you should need more information, please feel free to contact Curly Teeter at 404.808.2200.

Sincerely,

2018 CHS Baccalaureate Committee

Senior Slideshow
The Senior Committee is putting together a slideshow for the CHS Senior Class. The slideshow will be shown during the Senior Dinner, after graduation rehearsal on May 23, 2018. Parent/Guardians can submit two to three pictures of your senior during their time at Cambridge High School. The committee does not want baby pictures.

Please include your student's name when submitting pictures of your senior as a student at Cambridge to: [email protected] .
