We are back to Worship in the Sanctuary
Sunday, October 4, 2020
Hello Zion Family & Friends,

Thank You for participating in the worship service survey.

Although I know many enjoyed the outside worship, many others also enjoyed being back in the Sanctuary. In addition to Zion's Pastoral Call Status, it may not be a prudent time to make any major changes in worship services at this time.

Therefore, let's move forward with resuming our services at 8:30am for Traditional Liturgical and 10:00 am for Contemporary as we did prior to closing of indoor worship by Governor Newsom.

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to the Board of Elders at elders@zionanaheim.org.

Face Covering
Please wear a mask
Due to the State of California's requirements, social distancing measures will still be in place. What this means for you is that even though we are able to meet again inside the sanctuary, we ask that you refrain from hugging, shaking hands, and also keep a 6 feet social distance from those who are not in your party. Face coverings are required for entry to worship, except for babies and children under 2 years old. These face coverings will need to be worn by the congregation during the worship service. There are still many things that we must do to worship within compliance of the CDC guidelines. Some of these guidelines are rather easy to comply with. Others such as creating a contact tracing system for all people in attendance at worship, temperature readings of all people entering the sanctuary, and disinfecting restrooms after each and every indiviual use are more challenging.
Practice social distancing
Social Distancing
Additionally, to maintain appropriate social distancing, ushers will be seating you in assigned areas within the sanctuary. Family seating will be available, but if you plan to bring your young ones, keep in mind that there will be no Children's Church or family room area available. We understand that this is going to feel very unusual compared to the past, so we appreciate your patience and understanding as we use this opportunity to meet in person for worship and fellowship again.
