Well, another school year is coming to an end. Testing is wrapping up, caps and gowns are being distributed, senior scholarship night was a huge success, and BPA made an impression at the National Convention. This Saturday is Farm City Day s  - come out and see what the FFA kids have been up to. Stop by the greenhouse, too. Groundbreaking for the Wildcat Community Center has taken place, and Mr. Lindeman is making room  for the new construction. Today is the day to start to Walk Your City, getting out and enjoying our beautiful communities!

Greenhouse Closing June 1 for Construction

Plenty of plants still available at the CLHS Greenhouse until June 1st.

The Ag department has been busy this year, planning for the growing season in the greenhouse and then the destruction of the greenhouse to make way for new construction. The building project starting this summer includes the new Wildcat Community Center (groundbreaking was May 4th), along with a new greenhouse and additional classroom space for tech ed classes.

FFA students will hold their annual Farm City Days on Saturday May 19th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Fun includes a petting zoo, prizes, pedal tractor races, bake sale, photo booth, cotton candy, face painting, food, and more!

Induction ceremony will take place Thursday, May 17th, after the second girls softball game. Celebration will continue at the Center City Pizza Pub.


CLMS Wins Star of Innovation Award, while CLHS Awarded a Bronze Medal in the U.S. News and World Report Rankings


Chisago Lakes Middle School was awarded the Silver Star of Innovation from the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals in a partnership with Horace Mann. The award is designed to recognize MASSP member schools statewide for the development and support of an exemplary and innovative education program in their school. CLMS was recognized for their Makerspace.  Winners receive a $100 award.

Chisago Lakes High School was awarded the Bronze designation for 2018 by U.S. News and World Report. CLHS ranked 70th in the state of Minnesota, among over 570 schools.

5/17: Wall of Fame Induction of Kathy Skelly following the second game of the girls softball doubleheader. Celebration will continue following the presentation at the Center City Pizza Pub.

5/25: NO SCHOOL - Staff Development Day
Kids Club Adventure Day

5/28: NO SCHOOL - Memorial Day

6/4: CLHS graduation at 7:00 p.m. in the West Gym

6/6: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL


***LOOKING AHEAD: The Community Pool located at the high school will be closed from May 11, 2018 through August 10, 2018 for renovations.
