Best Practices for Plan Sponsors

When your employer provides employees with one or more supplemental retirement plans like Ohio Deferred Compensation, the employer assumes certain responsibilities for those plans. The good news is that Ohio Deferred Compensation takes care of most of the administrative responsibilities on behalf of the employer.

Nevertheless, employers should understand their responsibilities. The National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators (NAGDCA) is a great resource for employers. NAGDCA has a Best Practices Guide for plan sponsors (employers) that you can access by going to the Ohio DC Employer Website here. Look under the Resource Center on the right side and click on Your Plan Sponsor Best Practices Guide for Employers.
