Dr. Donald E. Fennoy II Named Superintendent of Palm Beach County Schools
Dr. Donald E. Fennoy II, a veteran educator who worked his way from elementary school teacher to Chief Operating Officer of the nation's 11th largest school district, was selected by the
Palm Beach County School Board as the District's 26th Superintendent of Schools.
Dr. Fennoy has served as the District's Chief Operating Officer since May 2016, overseeing a wide range of District functions, from School Police and School Food Services to Transportation and Planning & Intergovernmental Relations.

Dr. Fennoy: "It's a Fierce Obligation and Moral Obligation That I Have to do This Work"
Dr. Fennoy keeps his great-grandfather's high school diploma hanging in his office as a reminder of where his family has come from.
"It's a fierce obligation and moral obligation that I have to do this work," he shares. "Obviously a lot of things were put in place for me to be where I am, so I think I'm morally obligated to continue that legacy and create these opportunities for kids."
