IvyNotes: The week of May 14th
A weekly look ahead with dates and event details to help keep you informed.

A Note from Susan Holt

Happy Mother's Day! We hope you are having a lovely weekend.

Reminder: this Thursday, May 17th is a Professional Day for our staff. We will not have school for our students on Thursday,
but will be back teaching on Friday.

An enormous thank you to our PTA for creating a wonderful Staff Appreciation Week! We are also grateful to our homeroom parents who helped organize classroom gifts. Also, thanks to Heather Fath and Tamar Levenberg for chairing our staff lunch on Wednesday.
As one teacher said, "Best! Staff! Lunch! Ever!" Our entire staff was treated to a delicious meal, amazing raffle prizes, heartfelt speeches and a true sense of community. Thanks very much to all of our families for making this week special and for supporting our entire team. (See more photos below.)

Congratulations to our students in our Multiple Learning Needs Elementary School and Middle School programs for hosting a wonderful Science Fair! Our students enjoyed sharing their projects and they should be proud of the  hard work they put into these projects throughout the school year.

Our MAP program was thrilled to have so many grandparents and special friends join us on Friday for a our open house and lunch. Make sure to check out the video of our students that we shared with our guests below.

Ivymount Prom "A Blossoming Night in Tokyo" was Friday night and our students had a blast! We appreciate the hard work
from our prom c ommittee chairs  Brenna Edmonds (L) and
Lydia Neher (R).  (Scroll down for more prom photos.)

Hope you have a great week,
Susan Holt, Director

Thank you to the amazing room parents from  Ivymount's elementary, middle school and high school classrooms!
You did an incredible job acknowledging teacher appreciation week in each of your classrooms. Your efforts helped our outstanding teachers feel valued and acknowledged by parents. Thanks again for taking time out of your busy schedules
to be room parents.

Sincerely,
