Below is an opportunity to help with one of our church strategic partners:

Topeka North Outreach (TNO) is asking for volunteers to assist with their
Operation Backpack Assembly on the first Thursday of every  month (on April 5th) a 6 p.m. at  Indian Creek Elementary School, which is located at  4303 NE Indian Creek Rd. (Park & Enter in front please) The backpacks contain food for the children who are in need.  The children take the backpacks home and bring them back empty to be cleaned and refilled.   TNO  absolutely loves the younger and older generations working together but for the safety of everyone involved, they have set the following age guidelines for volunteers:  Children age 0-4 not allowed.  Children age 5-14 must be accompanied with an adult working next to them.  Youth under the age of  16 may  not operate staplers or dolly's.

You do not have to contact any one to participate in TNO's backpack assembly.  However, if you have any questions, please direct them to TNO's Theresa Gartner by phone at  785-286-1370 or by email at  youth@topekanorthoutreach.org .  To learn more about TNO, please go to their website:  www.topekanorthoutreach.org

Thank you for your prayerful consideration to volunteer for one of these opportunities and for your continued support and service!

Grace and peace,

Kimberly Scamardo
